Meet Sarah

I have been operating Bayside Personal Training for more than 13 years and been a PT for almost two decades. In 2021, I decided to create and open my own home studio after always sub-contracting under the umbrella of other locations, including Fitness First.

If I had to summarise my type of training in three words it would be, variety, fun and challenging. I also like to focus on correct technique and tempo.

My approach is to work with clients to achieve their desired results through delivering workouts where individual abilities are challenged and bodies are strengthened, toned, and improved.

My years of experience mean I have worked with clients aged from 14-80 and people with extreme differences in fitness & ability. Every single client has had one thing in common, they are all seeking some kind of change.

I appreciate many people don’t enjoy working out, getting sweaty or breathless, so my goal is to find a balance and hopefully help clients realise, see, notice and FEEL the benefits of working out. For those who already enjoy exercise, then my job is to challenge, strengthen and push you to achieve your desired results or goals, and even more.

Women's fitness is a passion of mine and I have specialised in pre and postnatal fitness for over a decade, supporting many clients from conception to second, third or in one case fourth pregnancy. I am very aware of the physical and mental changes in the body both pre and postnatal and how that can impact exercise and results.

Being over 45 myself, I have also become acutely aware of fitness and menopause and have undertaken specific studies in this area. I understand that fitness, weight loss and exercise often changes for women in their 40's. Rather than accepting or dwelling on this change, I assist women in using training for their changing bodies.

Then there are clients who need help with injury rehabilitation, prevention and body imbalances/ weaknesses or postural issues. As an experienced personal trainer I have worked with many clients assisting them in recovery from injuries and prevention; through corrective exercises. I have established a solid relationship with many of the local Bayside therapists having worked in the area many years and love seeing clients improve each session and achieve goals.

I fully appreciate getting back into fitness can be hard, whether it is has been a break from an injury, having a baby or just wanting to rekindle previous fitness levels to feel great about yourself again. Bayside Personal Training is all about helping and making a difference to you on this journey.
